THE 2026 LANDSCAPING PROJECT

Initially conceived as an arch, the bushes were cut down and the area was cleared and weeded over several sessions. It was then designed, with stones laid out, logs added, and the space planted and mulched to prevent weeds while the plants establish themselves. Although this is not the final project, we will allow the plants to spread before completing the work. A special thank you to Terry and Roy for their clearing efforts, and to Val and Wendy for their weeding. A huge thanks also goes to Kevin Chadwick, whose gardening expertise made this project possible.

Simultaneously, the adjacent shed was thoroughly cleaned, with cobwebs, moss, and dirt removed. It was then repainted to enhance its appearance, and the old planter was restored to use.

2025 winter project - Moss removal and gutters dug out

A big project as all the gutters were dug out from accumulated sand from many years leaving us with a drop again. Plastic weed repellent was then cut to size and placed the whole way around the gutters. More artificial grass was acquired and after being cut to size placed on top of the repellent giving a pleasant appearance. At the same time accumulated moss from the footpaths was scraped and cleaned away and the paths then sprayed to stop the moss returning.
