WHATS HAPPENNING
FRIDAY MORNINGS SOCIAL
We gather from 11:00 AM at the club for a relaxed tea and coffee morning, combined with some friendly social games. Visitors and new players are always warmly welcomed to join us on this day. Whether you want to play, or simply stop by for a cup of tea and a friendly chat on the terrace, feel free to drop in!
THURSDAY EVENING DROP-IN
The club will be open from 5.30 PM to 7:30 PM (weather permitting) to welcome anyone interested in trying out our game. All necessary equipment will be provided for those who wish to participate. No prior experience is needed, and our friendly club members will be available to guide newcomers through the basics and answer any questions. Whether you're looking to learn a new skill or simply enjoy a fun and active evening, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved!

What is Whist?
Whist is a classic card game that originated in the 18th century, primarily played by four players in two partnerships. The game is a trick-taking game, where the objective is to win as many tricks as possible. SAINT GEORGES DAY FESTIVAL - SATURDAY 25TH APRIL
Join us at the Saturday street market, where our club will have a stall promoting our activities. Don’t miss out on the exciting pig racing game! We’ll also have the green open for members of the public to try their hand at the game.
We would greatly appreciate any members who can spare an hour or two on that day to assist the club. Please inform any committee member of your availability so we can ensure both areas are well-staffed.
